Roughly two and a half months ago, my dog passed away suddenly. I've been meaning to do a portrait of him for a while now, but I couldn't quite do it.

This was based on a photo my brother-in-law took last winter, and was one of the few pictures we have of him- he hated having his picture taken.

Rest in peace, puppy.

Aw :( My heart is with you... I too lost a dog few years ago and I actually have a drawing of her too... Not in memory, because she was still alive when it was made, but at least, I have something that reminds me of her.

What was the name of you dog and what kind of breed he was?

His name was Gomer- he was a border collie/blue healer cross.

Australian Cattle Dog, they are also called and I know them trough this name...
